90-Minute Career Consultation
Strategic direction for your acting career.
Most actors do not have a talent problem. They have an alignment problem.
They are training, auditioning, and self-taping, but their materials, performance choices, and career narrative are not pulling in the same direction. The result is confusion, mixed signals, and missed opportunities. The Career Consultation exists to fix that.

The Breakthrough Actor
A strategic career and performance realignment.
Not just coaching. Not just strategy. A comprehensive reset of how you perform, present, and position yourself in the industry, designed for actors who know they are capable of more but feel unseen, misread, or stuck between opportunities.
At its core, this helps you step away from tying your self-worth to outcomes, auditions, callbacks or silence, and return to a grounded, confident relationship with the work itself.

How the process works

You submit your current materials, headshots, CV, showreel or self-tape reel, for review.

A 90-minute career consultation: what is currently working, where your materials or positioning may be underserving you, and how you are being read by the industry. We discuss industry trends, agencies, and local and global markets.

You are assigned 2 to 3 carefully chosen pieces of material. Not random scenes: selected to stretch you creatively while supporting your positioning, roles that suit your look, ability and artistry.

Two 60-minute coaching sessions working those pieces in depth. The focus is truth, specificity and confidence, helping you feel alive in the work rather than performative or self-conscious.

You tape the material in your own time. In person with a reader is recommended for the responsiveness Zoom cannot replicate. An additional session can be arranged to tape together.

A 30-minute feedback and retape strategy session: performance choices, editing, how to integrate the scenes into your reel, and how to position them.

Agency approach strategy: a personalised list of agents suited to you, and how to present your updated package with confidence and clarity.

Pathway 04 · Group Lab
The Breakthrough Room
Directors' scene study and performance lab.
A small, director-led scene study and performance lab for actors who want to deepen their craft and understand how they are actually read in the room.
This is not a drop-in class. It is a focused, hybrid lab, part acting teacher, part working director, where actors are coached, challenged, and directed in real time. This is where technique meets application.
$380Per participant, 4-week term, 12 hours

A hybrid teaching and directing approach: real coaching paired with real-time direction
Director-level feedback grounded in industry context, not abstract acting notes
Practical tools and exercises designed to unlock specificity, presence and confidence
Scenes selected with casting, positioning and actor readiness in mind
Repeat reps with evolving direction: learning to take notes, adjust, and stay alive in the work
How the lab works
Actors work on carefully selected scenes across the four-week term, returning to the same material as direction evolves. Alongside scene work, participants are introduced to practical tools supporting listening and responsiveness, clarity of intention, emotional availability without forcing, grounded confidence under pressure, and flexibility when taking direction.
The emphasis is on implementation, not theory. Places are intentionally limited to allow depth of work and individual attention.
Payment and commitment
A 50% deposit secures your place, with the balance payable prior to the final session. Places are confirmed on a first-come basis.

Booking notes and policies
Availability: all sessions are by appointment and subject to availability.
Rescheduling: more than 24 hours before a session, free. Less than 24 hours, 50% charge. No shows, 100% charge.
Alumni rates: if you have previously worked with CJLT in any capacity, you qualify for alumni pricing on select programs.
Payment: payment secures your booking. Package deposits are required to hold your place in programs.
