This policy explains what personal information I collect through this website and my work, why I collect it, and how I handle it. I treat your information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

Who I am

This website is operated by Charles Jazz Terrier, trading as CJLT.co (ABN 40 965 496 169), based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. In this policy, "I," "me," and "my" refer to CJLT.co. If you have any question about your privacy, contact me at hello@cjlt.co.

What I collect

I only collect information I actually need to respond to you and run my practice:

• Contact and enquiry details you provide through the contact form or by email: your name, email address, phone number (if you give it), the service you are interested in, and whatever you tell me about your goals.
• Newsletter details if you subscribe: your email address.
• Diagnostic and download details if you use the on-site quiz or request a resource: your name and email address, and your quiz responses.
• Technical and usage data collected automatically when you visit: your browser type, device, approximate location, pages viewed, and similar analytics data, some of it via cookies.

I do not collect sensitive information (such as health, racial, or political information), and I do not ask for it. Please do not send it to me through this site.

How I use it

I use your information to:

• respond to your enquiry and discuss whether my work is a fit;
• deliver coaching, speaking, or other services you engage me for;
• send you resources or newsletters you have asked for;
• understand how the site is used, so I can improve it; and
• meet my legal and record-keeping obligations.

I do not sell your information, and I do not send marketing you did not ask for. You can unsubscribe from any email at any time using the link in the message or by emailing me.

Who I share it with

I keep your information to myself wherever possible. I share it only with trusted service providers who help me operate, and only as far as they need it. These include website hosting, email and form providers, email marketing tools, and analytics providers. Some of these providers are based overseas (for example, in the United States), which means your information may be stored or processed outside Australia. I take reasonable steps to use reputable providers who protect your information to a comparable standard.

I may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect my legal rights.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses cookies and similar technologies to make it work and to understand how it is used. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not function as well if you do.

How I store and protect it

I take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, and to destroy or de-identify it when it is no longer needed. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so I cannot guarantee absolute security, but I treat your information with care.

Accessing and correcting your information

You can ask me what personal information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email hello@cjlt.co and I will respond within a reasonable time. There is no charge for making a request.

Complaints

If you think I have mishandled your information, contact me first at hello@cjlt.co and I will work to resolve it. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time. The current version, with its date, will always be on this page.
